Throughout our 2-year program, you will work towards a Level 3 qualification in Low Carbon Heating Technology, gaining invaluable experience from industry experts. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the installation of sustainable technologies, including air source heat pumps, in residential settings. Your role will involve engaging with customers to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our innovative systems. You may also have the opportunity to plan, select, and implement low carbon solutions under the guidance of seasoned professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering exceptional work while adhering to design specifications, manufacturer guidelines, regulations, and industry standards. Preparing for the installation of sustainable technologies. Conducting testing and handover procedures for low carbon systems. Removing and responsibly disposing of outdated heating and hot water systems to make way for our advanced, low carbon solutions. Performing routine servicing and maintenance within customer residences.

Required qualifications:

GCSEs in Maths and English at grades 4-9, functional skills in Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications. A valid UK driving license with no more than 3 penalty points. Permanent right to work in the UK for the duration of the apprenticeship. Strong problem-solving abilities. Resilience and a willingness to learn from experiences. A desire to grow and develop professionally.

Key details:

Apprenticeship: Level 3 Low Carbon Heating Technician. Duration: 24 months (plus 4 months for End Point Assessment). Locations available across various regions. Salary: Starting salary based on age, with opportunities for progression and a potential final salary after 5 years in the role.
