You will earn a competitive salary that increases as you grow in your role while working towards a Level 3 qualification in Low Carbon Heating Technology. Throughout our comprehensive 2-year program, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to facilitate the installation of sustainable technologies, such as air source heat pumps, in residential settings. Your responsibilities will include engaging with customers to install, service, troubleshoot, and repair our innovative systems. You may also have the opportunity to plan, select, install, service, and maintain low carbon technologies under the guidance of experienced colleagues. Additionally, comfort with working at heights and in confined spaces is essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering exceptional work while adhering to design specifications, manufacturer guidelines, regulations, and industry standards. Preparing for the installation of sustainable technologies. Conducting testing and handover procedures for low carbon technologies. Safely removing and disposing of outdated heating and hot water systems to make way for our advanced, eco-friendly solutions. Performing routine servicing and maintenance within customer residences.

Requirements:

GCSEs in Maths and English at grades 4-9, functional skills in Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications. A valid UK driving license with no more than 3 penalty points. Permanent right to work in the UK for the duration of the apprenticeship. Strong problem-solving abilities. Resilience and a willingness to learn from experiences. A desire to grow and develop professionally.

Key details:

Apprenticeship: Level 3 Low Carbon Heating Technician. Duration: 24 months (plus 4 months for End Point Assessment). Locations available: Various locations across the UK. Salary: Starting salary based on age, with opportunities for progression and a potential final salary after 5 years in the role.
