Job Overview

The Weir Bar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Proven experience in a managerial role in the hospitality industry, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Strong knowledge of beverages, including wines, whiskeys, and cocktails, with the ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Experience in staff hiring, training, and scheduling, with a focus on talent development and retention.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Understanding of budgeting, financials, and profit and loss management, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations, with a focus on resolving conflicts and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
