Role Summary

This is a full-time on-site position for an Executive Director at The Weir Bar in Brentford. The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the establishment, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, managing and training staff, maintaining inventory and supplies, managing budgets and financials, and implementing marketing and promotional strategies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Proven experience in a managerial role in the hospitality industry, with a strong track record of success
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
  • Strong knowledge of beverages, including wines, whiskeys, and cocktails, with the ability to create a unique and engaging experience for guests
  • Ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests, with a focus on exceptional customer service
  • Experience in staff hiring, training, and scheduling, with a focus on building a high-performing team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of budgeting, financials, and profit and loss management, with the ability to make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, guests, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations, with a focus on maintaining a positive and professional demeanor
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a focus on maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and guests
  • Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus, with the ability to create unique and engaging experiences for guests
