We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join our team at Wemention. as a key member of our operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Material Controller to ensure the efficient delivery of materials and address any discrepancies.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure effective material management and minimize stock discrepancies.
- Conduct regular stocktakes to ensure compliance with internal audits and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement effective inventory management systems and processes to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
- Monitor the shelf life of stock and implement strategies to minimize obsolescence.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Provide regular reports to management on inventory levels, stock movements, and any issues that may impact operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of inventory management principles.
- Previous experience using inventory management systems/software and a strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve stock discrepancies and issues.
