Contechs is seeking a highly skilled Chassis Project Engineer to join our team in Guildford, Surrey. As a Chassis Project Engineer, you will be responsible for interfacing with suppliers, supporting on systems and components, and developing and reviewing designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interfacing with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components
  • Supporting on systems and components within the Client
  • Developing and reviewing designs to meet technical and safety requirements
  • Supervising and coordinating the development of systems and components
  • Managing adherence to technical and safety requirements across components
  • Supporting Testing and resolving issues identified during all stages of the development lifecycle

Qualifications / Skills needed:

  • 7+ years of automotive design experience in Chassis systems
  • Low volume vehicle experience
  • Supplier interface experience
  • DVP and testing delivery experience
  • Strong leadership of a team of high-performance engineers
  • Self-motivated to deliver excellence and excellent communicator
  • Catia V5 literate
  • Sports/Hypercar chassis experience an advantage
  • Low volume manufacture experience desirable
