Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of our Networks team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our network capabilities, serving millions of customers across the nation. We are seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to oversee and facilitate the Agile Release Train (ART) delivery within our Digital Product portfolio as we embrace the SAFe framework. This position focuses on establishing standards for Agile delivery excellence and acting as a guiding leader in our transition to SAFe.

Your Responsibilities Include:
  • Leading and facilitating essential planning and delivery events to ensure the ART's success.
  • Continuously improving and optimizing ART processes while assisting teams in delivering value alongside Product Managers and System Engineers.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and effectively communicating, escalating, and resolving impediments to support ART delivery.
  • Collaborating with Product and Digital Engineering teams to enhance the Digital delivery process through leading initiatives that improve end-to-end delivery, including DevOps practices.
  • Tracking and reporting key performance metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability for the ART's objectives.
  • Maintaining budget visibility for the ART and supporting Lean budgeting processes to maximize value delivery.
  • Championing a culture of continuous learning and improvement, fostering an environment where team members can thrive and feel psychologically safe.
Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading ARTs with a strong understanding of how to establish and manage high-performing delivery teams.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues.

• A servant leader who fosters a culture of continuous improvement and focuses on delivering customer outcomes.

• Extensive knowledge of SAFe methodologies and tools (e.g., PI planning, Agile delivery methods, DevOps, JIRA/Azure DevOps, Confluence).
