Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Civil or Structural engineer to lead our engineering team and drive growth in our Runcorn operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and developing a team, expanding our client base, and maintaining high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow, mentor, and develop the capabilities of the engineering team
  • Attend sites to gain an understanding of project scope and pricing to ensure comprehensive management of project deliverables
  • Develop external networks to ensure optimal reach to potential clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management to establish and implement growth strategies

Requirements:

  • Hold chartership status with a relevant professional institution (MICE, ISTructE)
  • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Background in Civil/Structural engineering
  • Preferably experience in mentoring staff and developing competencies
