EMED Group is excited to announce an opening for a Senior Regional Operations Leader to oversee operations in the Suffolk area.

In this pivotal role, reporting to the Operations Director, the Senior Regional Operations Leader will take charge of the operational, financial, compliance, and growth performance within designated geographical limits. Collaborating closely with Contract Managers and operational teams, this position serves as a vital link between strategic initiatives and operational execution at the regional level.

  • Hybrid working model, including office presence and regional travel as necessary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume full responsibility for revenue, cost, and margin performance across all relevant contracts
  • Collaborate with contract managers to establish achievable financial targets on a monthly and annual basis
  • Foster and maintain strong senior-level relationships throughout the region to ensure successful contract retention during re-tendering processes
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of local tender pipelines and strategize with the Business Development team to cultivate positive client relationships ahead of tender opportunities
  • Support Contract Managers in delivering effective day-to-day services while balancing contractual KPIs with operational realities
  • Maintain a focus on medium-term outputs to proactively address potential challenges before they affect service delivery
  • Take full accountability for the safety, performance, and development of your regional team
  • Promote quality and regulatory compliance throughout the region, ensuring it remains a priority in operational practices
  • Work in conjunction with the Quality and Compliance team to evaluate regional quality and governance performance, effectively managing identified risks

Do you possess the necessary qualifications?

  • At least five years of experience in a management role, demonstrating successful business improvements or organizational changes that positively impacted team performance or service delivery
  • KPI-driven with a strong commitment to achieving and exceeding targets
  • Proven experience in developing successful short and long-term strategies
  • Extensive experience in managing and influencing staff, clients, and stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to cultivate strong, effective relationships with staff, clients, and stakeholders
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in managing Employee Relations issues
  • Highly organized with a track record of meeting deadlines
  • Previous experience in Patient Transport Services is preferred but not essential
