Job Summary

Hays Senior Finance is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the company's strategic planning and financial decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain medium and long-term strategic planning models to inform business decisions.
  • Conduct financial due diligence for potential acquisitions and mergers.
  • Analyse industry trends, competitors, and market share possibilities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Evaluate financial reports and company fundamentals to inform strategic decisions.
  • Assist in structuring and assessing the impact of financial transactions on overall business growth.
  • Prepare financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, tax, and accounting, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Provide insights on risk assessment and mitigation strategies to inform business decisions.
  • Support post-merger integration and ensure a smooth transition.

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) with strong technical reporting skills.
  • Experience in large company audit and financial planning and analysis.
  • Advanced Excel and modelling skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to influence at all levels.

  • A highly competitive salary in the region of £90,000 to £100,000.
