About the Role

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the company's strategic planning and business partnering efforts. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and commercially focused finance professional to join our team at Hays Senior Finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain medium and long-term strategic planning models to support business decision-making.
  • Conduct financial due diligence for potential acquisitions and provide recommendations to the Board and Senior Management Team.
  • Evaluate financial reports and company fundamentals to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with legal, tax, and accounting teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Provide insights on risk assessment and mitigation strategies to support business risk management.

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) with strong technical reporting skills.
  • Advanced Excel and modelling skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand commercial finance concepts.

  • A highly competitive salary in the region of £90,000 to £100,000.
