About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the company's strategic planning and financial decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain medium and long-term strategic planning models to support business growth and expansion.
  • Financial Due Diligence: Conduct thorough financial due diligence for potential acquisitions, ensuring a thorough understanding of the company's financial position and future prospects.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze industry trends, competitors, and market share possibilities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Financial Reporting: Evaluate financial reports and company fundamentals to provide insights and recommendations for business improvement.
  • Financial Modeling: Prepare financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses to support business decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with legal, tax, and accounting teams to ensure seamless execution of financial plans and strategies.
  • Risk Assessment: Provide insights on risk assessment and mitigation strategies to ensure the company's financial stability and growth.
  • Post-Merger Integration: Support the integration of acquired companies, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) with strong technical reporting skills.
  • Experience: Ideally, 2+ years of experience in a large company audit firm, with advanced Excel and modelling skills.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and understanding of financial markets and trends.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: A highly competitive salary in the region of £90,000 to £100,000.
  • Bonus Potential: Bonus potential of up to 25%.
