Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse Gynaecology to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Gynaecology nursing team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of excellent services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programmes of care for patients within the framework of team nursing.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and sustain own knowledge, clinical skills, and professional awareness in accordance with NMC requirements.
  • Participate in preceptorship programmes and act as a facilitator/mentor/preceptor/role model to less experienced staff.
  • Contribute to research and development programmes within the Unit.
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment and ensure all appropriate general risk assessments are carried out within 24 hours of admission.

  • First-level NMC Registered Adult Nurse.
