This role is customer-facing and focuses on the implementation of cutting-edge Cloud and Infrastructure solutions tailored to meet intricate business requirements. You will leverage your experience in the IT Service and Consultancy sectors, along with your comprehensive knowledge of enterprise Cloud and Infrastructure solutions, to guide clients through their transformation journeys.

  • Collaborate closely with Technical Architects to grasp the design rationale behind each solution.
  • Develop and implement solutions for offshore financial service firms and global enterprises, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Deliver Server and Storage Infrastructure solutions across Microsoft Cloud (Azure, M365, AVD), Server Infrastructure, and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for customer support.

You should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a consultancy role, engaging with enterprise clients to scope, design, and implement:

Cloud Infrastructure Expertise

Microsoft Azure

  • Expertise in deploying and managing Azure services (e.g., VMs, Azure AD, Azure Backup).
  • Proficient in Azure Networking (e.g., Virtual Networks, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway).
  • Knowledge of Azure Storage solutions (e.g., Blob Storage, Azure Files, Disk Storage).
  • Familiarity with Azure Governance and management tools (e.g., Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center).

Microsoft 365 (M365)

  • Experience in implementing and managing M365 services (e.g., Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams).
  • Understanding of security and compliance in M365 (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Compliance Center).
  • Ability to integrate M365 with on-premises infrastructure.

Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)

  • Skills in designing, deploying, and managing AVD environments.
  • Expertise in user profile management and optimization (e.g., FSLogix).
  • Knowledge of AVD security and compliance best practices.

Server and Storage Infrastructure Expertise

Server Infrastructure

  • Proficient in deploying and managing Windows Server and Linux environments.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware vSphere).
  • Knowledge of Active Directory design and management.
  • Experience with server clustering and high availability solutions.

Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI)

  • Skills in deploying and managing HCI solutions (e.g., Azure Stack HCI, Nutanix, VMware vSAN).
  • Understanding of HCI architecture and best practices.
  • Ability to integrate HCI with cloud and on-premises environments.

Storage Infrastructure

  • Knowledge of SAN, NAS, and DAS storage solutions.
  • Experience with storage replication and disaster recovery.
  • Skills in storage performance tuning and optimization.

Technical Support Skills

Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution

  • Advanced troubleshooting capabilities for cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Experience in root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, SolarWinds).

Customer Support and Communication

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing and resolving high-severity incidents.
