Job Opportunity: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at FORT, a technical and IT search consultancy. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our clients' cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate infrastructure tasks.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Windows and/or Linux administration.
  • Experience with AWS is essential.
  • Experience with application containerization platforms and registry (e.g. Docker & ECR).
  • A background in at least one of the following scripting languages (Bash, Python, Go, Rust).
  • Some practical experience with CI/CD tools (we use Jenkins and Concourse CI).
