Job Title: Physical Education Coordinator

Job Summary:

GSL Education is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Education Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering physical education and sports activities to students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging physical education and sports lessons to small class groups, promoting a love for fitness and teamwork among students.
  • Sports Coordination: Coordinate and oversee various sports activities, including swimming and dance therapy, to provide a comprehensive sports program.
  • Community Engagement: Develop new links with the community to encourage participation in physical education and sports, promoting inclusive education and student well-being.
  • Equipment Management: Maintain and organize physical education equipment and resources, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
  • Additional Support: Provide additional classroom support and assist with school trips and events, demonstrating a commitment to student success.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in planning and delivering physical education and sports activities, with a focus on inclusive education.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students, promoting a positive and supportive learning environment.
