Exciting Opportunity for a Committed SEN Coordinator

Position Summary for SEN Coordinator:
The SEN Coordinator will collaborate closely with educators, guardians, and external specialists to formulate individualized education plans (IEPs) and support frameworks for each learner with SEN. They will provide individualized and small group assistance, perform evaluations, and work together to develop tailored learning strategies.

Primary Duties for SEN Coordinator:

  • Conduct evaluations to determine students' educational needs.
  • Design and execute customized learning strategies.
  • Offer individualized and group assistance to learners.
  • Track progress and modify support strategies as necessary.
  • Communicate with parents/guardians and assist the SEN Coordinator.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive educational atmosphere.

Essential Qualifications for SEN Coordinator:

  • Address behavioral challenges and implement behavior management strategies.
  • Recognize the social and emotional requirements of SEN learners.
  • Experience working with non-verbal students.
  • Possess a recognized teaching qualification with a specialization in SEN.
  • Familiarity with SEN legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Dedication to continuous professional growth in the field of SEN.
