Gleeson Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join their team in Manchester. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the office and providing administrative support to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including managing office supplies and equipment, and ensuring the office is clean and tidy.
- Liaison and Communication: Liaise with Senior Operations Manager in relation to operations and budget, and supervise Front of House and Administration teams.
- Staff Management: Approve staff holidays and ensure adequate cover is provided during absence periods, manage, train, and develop Operations staff in the office.
- Recruitment and Training: Assist with recruitment of operations staff for the office and conduct H&S risk assessments.
- Meetings and Events: Coordinate meetings and events, including booking venues and catering, and managing invitations and RSVPs.
- Supplier Management: Liaise with external suppliers and service providers, including IT support, cleaners, and maintenance contractors.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role in a professional service environment.
- Skills: Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, strong leadership and people management skills, attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when completing tasks, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
