Cannock, Staffordshire, United Kingdom Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Job Overview

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and empathetic Psychological Support Assistant to join our Mental Health Treatment Requirement (MHTR) Team on a fixed-term contract.

If you are looking for a rewarding role and have a strong interest in the intersection of mental health and criminal justice, we invite you to consider joining our inclusive and supportive team.

The MHTR Team operates as part of the Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust's Health and Justice Service. Our mission is to provide psychological evaluations and interventions for individuals experiencing mental health challenges who are involved with criminal justice systems, aiming to reduce the likelihood of custodial sentences and reoffending.

We strive to enhance access to psychological care and address the root causes of mental health issues, thereby improving overall health and social outcomes for individuals and their families.

Our services are delivered across a wide geographical area, with virtual training and IT support available, eliminating the need for travel to a central office.
