Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Psychological Support Specialist to join our Complex Trauma Pathway within the Integrated Mental Health Team. This role is integral to providing support for individuals who have faced complex traumatic experiences, bridging the gap between primary and secondary care.
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and deliver both individual and group interventions under the guidance of a Clinical Psychologist.
- Operate independently in accordance with a plan established with the supervising Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the pathway to ensure comprehensive care.
- Assist in administrative tasks related to clinical operations, including audits, data collection, and the development of research initiatives.
- Support the organization and evaluation of workshops aimed at enhancing service delivery.

Position Requirements
Qualifications
- A First or Upper Second class honors degree in psychology, or a lower class degree accompanied by a relevant postgraduate qualification.
- Eligibility for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
- Experience working with individuals facing complex mental health challenges.
Experience
- Substantial experience in mental health settings or with offender populations.
- Experience working collaboratively within a team environment.
