Position Summary
We are seeking a Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead the establishment of a new branch. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all pharmacy operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
As the Pharmacy Operations Manager, your duties will include:

  • Managing daily pharmacy operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, promoting a collaborative work culture.
  • Providing expert guidance to patients regarding their health and medication needs.
  • Ensuring adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements, including the safe handling of pharmaceuticals.
  • Maintaining precise records and managing inventory to optimize stock levels.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of £58,000-60,000 per annum, along with opportunities for professional development in a supportive work environment. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, and Saturdays from 9am to 12pm.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An MPharm degree or equivalent qualification.
  • GPhC registration as a Pharmacist.
  • Previous managerial experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to GPHC guidelines.
