About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our team at our Independent Community Pharmacy in Telford. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for managing a busy pharmacy offering a range of services and enhancing the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering Essential Pharmacy Services: Provide high-quality pharmacy services to our customers, including dispensing prescriptions, offering health advice, and promoting healthy living.
  • Delivering Advanced Pharmacy Services: Develop and deliver advanced pharmacy services such as NMS, Flu Vaccination, COVID vaccinations, CPCS, and blood pressure checking.
  • Managing a Travel Vaccination Clinic: Lead the development and delivery of a travel vaccination clinic, providing expert advice and guidance to customers.
  • Day-to-Day Management: Manage a team of experienced and hardworking staff, including conducting appraisals, providing training and development opportunities, and ensuring the team is equipped to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Developing Strong Links with Local GPs: Build and maintain strong relationships with local GPs, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure the pharmacy is compliant with GPhC regulations, working closely with the Superintendent Pharmacist to maintain high standards of governance and compliance.
  • Business Development: Work with the Superintendent Pharmacist to drive the business forward, identifying opportunities for growth and development, and implementing strategies to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Pharmacy Manager Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience in a pharmacy manager role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Accreditation: Must have NMS, Flu Vaccine, and COVID vaccine accreditation.
  • Leadership Skills: A 'can-do' attitude, with the ability to lead and motivate a team, overcome challenges, and drive business growth.
