About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our team at our independent community pharmacy in Telford. As a UK Qualified Pharmacist, you will be responsible for managing a busy pharmacy offering a range of services and enhancing the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering essential pharmacy services, including dispensing medication and providing health advice
  • Delivering advanced pharmacy services, such as NMS, Flu Vaccination, COVID vaccinations, CPCS, and blood pressure checking
  • Providing smoking cessation services and managing a travel vaccination clinic
  • Day-to-day management of a team of around 6 staff, including conducting appraisals and ensuring staff development
  • Stock control and ensuring the pharmacy is compliant with GPhC regulations
  • Developing and maintaining strong links with local GPs and healthcare professionals
  • Working with the Superintendent Pharmacist to drive the business and its services forward
Requirements
  • Qualified/UK registered pharmacist with NMS, Flu Vaccine, and COVID vaccine accreditation
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a pharmacy manager role
  • A confident, positive, and motivational leader who inspires and empowers staff to do well
  • A sound ability to balance and prioritize your own work and that of your staff
  • Strong relationships with patients, GP surgeries, and healthcare professionals
  • A friendly and outgoing personality with strong communication skills
  • A 'can-do' attitude to overcome challenges and enthuse the pharmacy team
  • Able to make sound decisions to ensure the best customer experience
What We Offer
