Your responsibilities will include providing practical access, simple adaptations, and note-taking support, as well as keeping accurate records, monitoring, and tracking individual support details and progress. You will also be expected to attend to personal care needs, be involved in moving and handling, and the administration of medication, after receipt of the appropriate training.

We are looking for an experienced individual who has knowledge and understanding of barriers and issues faced by students with special educational needs and disabilities, together with strategies to overcome these. Experience of working in an education or care setting with young people with learning difficulties, disabilities, and complex and physical needs would be an advantage.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide high-quality learning support services to students with special educational needs and disabilities
* Work with curriculum teams to ensure that all learners receiving support have the opportunities to achieve and exceed their potential

**Requirements:**

* Experience of working in an education or care setting with young people with learning difficulties, disabilities, and complex and physical needs
* Knowledge and understanding of barriers and issues faced by students with special educational needs and disabilities, together with strategies to overcome these
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
