We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Care Coordinator to join our team at Local Solutions. As a Senior Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Support: Provide supervision and support to a team of care support workers, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver excellent care services.
- Medication Audits and Care Record Audits: Conduct regular medication audits and care record audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Mentorship and Training: Mentor new care support workers, providing guidance and support during their first 12 weeks of employment.
- Service Development: Contribute to the development of our care services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work effectively with other teams to ensure that concerns or changes to care needs are responded to appropriately and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in health and social care or willingness to work towards.
- Experience: Experience in a social care setting, with a strong understanding of care principles and practices.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Other: Full driving license and use of private vehicle for work use, enhanced DBS check, and commitment to quality, customer service, best practice, and best value in all aspects of our operation.
