Occupational Therapist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Community Division in the Wigan borough. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing rehabilitation services to patients in their own homes and community settings.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in community settings to identify their needs and develop effective rehabilitation plans.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and social care teams to deliver high-quality care and support to patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence, mobility, and functional ability in patients.
- Provide education and training to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals on rehabilitation techniques and strategies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and patient safety.

Requirements- Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Post-registration experience in rehabilitation and condition management.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
