About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Atherleigh Park Hospital. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the delivery of services to meet the trust objectives
- Deliver evidence-based care cluster pathway interventions in service users' homes or in the crisis beds at Salford Listening Lounge
- Engage with carers and significant others in response to identified needs
- Monitor the quality of work in own service, through active involvement in clinical supervision and reporting any performance/quality issues and related risks
- Be responsible for equipment used in carrying out duties, adhering to departmental policy and ensuring the safe use of equipment by others through teaching, training and supervision of practice
- Be responsible for maintaining own competency and self-development
Requirements
- Hold a Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Be HCPC registered
- Have previous NHS experience within a Mental Health Service
- Hold a full, current driving licence and have access to their own vehicle for work purposes
