People Advisor

As a People Advisor at McLaren Racing, you will play a critical role in supporting the team's high-performance journey by delivering exceptional HR service across McLaren Racing Limited (MRL). Your primary focus will be on delivering a progressive people agenda, supporting the delivery of long-term business planning, and developing HR solutions to ensure a great employee experience.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees.
- Work closely with the Talent Attraction team to advise on recruitment policy, process, and interviews/selection, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Ensure strong employee relations across the function by engaging with managers and team leaders to fulfill their legal obligations effectively.
- Collaborate with the People Partner to implement organizational design requirements, supporting managers through the organizational design processes.
- Support the growth of early careers programs in your functional area, working with the Early Careers team and managers to deliver successful and engaging campaigns.
- Proactively support the bi-yearly Pulse Survey reviews, ensuring a collaborative approach with managers and leaders on the communication of results and achievement of actions.
- Support the annual reward process, including salary review, bonus, and benefits.
- Conduct exit interviews, regularly reviewing data, reporting on trends, and advising managers on implementation of solutions.
- Proactively manage parental leave policies and requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage relevant HRIS data and reporting to support people strategy, spotting trends and assisting People Partners with decision making.
- Previous demonstrable HR Advisory experience, including strong employee relation knowledge and case management skills.
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
- A focus on the generation and use of accurate data to inform decision making.
- Experience of managing change and delivery of projects.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
