This position plays a vital role in advancing the global HR strategy for Group Functions, offering a chance to engage in diverse HR areas and foster business partnerships across all Central Functions.

Reporting directly to the Senior HR Business Partner for Group Functions (Commercial), this role will also support the HR Director for Central Functions with various HR initiatives.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence and possess a desire to cultivate a long-term career in Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities

HR Support

  • Deliver operational and administrative assistance to HR Business Partners throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and exit processes.
  • Aid in the preparation of presentations and materials for meetings, ensuring consistency across all Group Functions.
  • Provide timely information to the HR Centre, which manages payroll and benefits for employees in the UK/Ireland, and offer support as needed.
  • Assist with the administration of international employee transfers.
  • Serve as the primary contact for HR-related inquiries.

Ensuring HR Excellence

  • Maintain and manage data integrity, crucial for annual activities, and resolve data issues in collaboration with the HR Centre.
  • Conduct HR data reporting and analysis to meet organizational requirements and support key HR metrics.
  • Coordinate contractor extensions in the UK, notifying relevant parties well in advance.
  • Manage online resources for the Group HR teams on SharePoint or other suitable platforms.
  • Represent Group Central Functions in user acceptance testing for new system capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot HR process and administrative issues.
  • Act as a super-user for HR systems, providing guidance to line managers.
  • Create offline organizational charts as necessary.
  • Foster a mindset of continuous improvement, actively seeking and proposing enhancements to processes.

Recruitment

  • Assist hiring managers in completing requisitions for open positions, ensuring accurate job descriptions and compensation details are submitted to the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop Interview Plans for interviews, utilizing the Interview Builder to select appropriate questions.
  • Partner with hiring managers during first-stage interviews as requested, ensuring constructive feedback is provided to candidates.
  • Support HR Business Partners and specialized teams in promoting graduate and placement programs across Nomad Foods.

Induction & Onboarding

  • Educate line managers and new hires on the induction process.
  • Collaborate with line managers to ensure comprehensive induction plans are established for new employees.
  • Advise on suitable content for induction plans and ensure new starters complete all onboarding activities.
  • Monitor attendance at onboarding initiatives, gather feedback, and recommend improvements.

Company Culture

  • Actively engage in promoting our cultural journey, embodying our company values daily.
  • Support the organization of the quarterly Nomad Foods People Awards.
  • Prepare and analyze data for the Employee Opinion Survey, contributing to action plan development.

Performance Management

  • Assist employees and managers in conducting effective performance discussions.
  • Support line managers with performance development plan completion.
  • Track and report on performance development plan completion rates.
  • Analyze development plans to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing performance activities.

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate participation in company-wide learning and development programs.
  • Manage the nomination process for global initiatives such as leadership programs.
  • Co-facilitate in-house HR training sessions.

Talent Management

  • Coordinate the annual talent management cycle for Group Functions and assist HR Business Partners as needed.

Employee Relations

  • Collaborate with line managers on employee relations casework, providing guidance as necessary.
  • Serve as a note-taker in employee relations meetings when required.
  • Track employee relations casework for Group Functions.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all employee relations inquiries.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation for employee relations cases.

Graduate Programs

  • Assist in managing graduate programs, including recruitment and training.
  • Support the onboarding of new graduate cohorts.
  • Help coordinate graduate rotations and mid-year performance reviews.

HR Projects

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners on the development and execution of key HR projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Degree qualification.
  • CIPD certification.
  • Familiarity with SuccessFactors and iCIMS ATS.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex.
