McLaren Group is seeking a highly skilled People Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting our F1 team by providing exceptional HR service across McLaren Racing Limited.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to employees and managers
- Work with managers to develop and implement recruitment policies and processes, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce
- Support organizational design processes, analyzing data to inform business decisions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement talent management strategies, identifying and developing high-potential employees
- Assist with early careers programs, designing and delivering initiatives to attract and retain top talent
- Roll out learning and development initiatives, ensuring employees have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
- Manage employee engagement activities, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to inform business decisions
- Handle parental leave policies, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Manage HRIS data and reporting, providing insights to inform business decisions
- Update people policies, ensuring they are aligned with company values and objectives
- Collaborate with fellow People Advisors to share best practices and improve HR service delivery
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, influencing them to support new initiatives
- Adapt approach to deliver advice and projects, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Act as a conduit between managers and people partners, facilitating communication and resolving issues
- Strong and professional communication, ensuring effective stakeholder management
People and Culture Strategy
- Contribute to the development of the people strategy, ensuring it aligns with company objectives
- Be an ambassador of the strategy, communicating it to teams and managers
Requirements
Key Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrable HR advisory experience, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Strong data analysis and decision-making abilities, with the ability to analyze data and inform business decisions
- Experience managing change and delivering projects, with a strong understanding of project management principles
- Proficiency in MS Office, with the ability to use HR software and systems
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent, with a strong understanding of HR theory and practice
