About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist, People Partner to join our team at McLaren Group. As a key member of our People Operations function, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our high-performance business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional HR service to our F1 function, delivering a progressive people agenda and supporting the delivery of long-term business planning.
  • Develop and implement HR solutions to ensure a great employee experience, working closely with senior leaders to craft the People Strategy.
  • Act as the first point of contact for senior managers in departments across our F1 Operations function, providing tailored operational advice and support.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Attraction team to advise managers and support recruitment policy, process, and interviews/selection.
  • Ensure strong employee relations across the function, engaging managers and team leaders to fulfill their legal obligations effectively and approach them with culture and engagement at its core.
  • Support the growth of early careers programs in your functional area, working with the Early Careers team and managers to deliver successful and engaging campaigns.
  • Support the roll out of any learning and development needs, including delivery, working closely with managers and People Partners to implement any solutions.
  • Utilize relevant HRIS data and reporting to support people strategy, spotting trends and assisting managers with data-driven decision making.
  • Proactive management of HRIS data, ensuring accuracy and compliance, working closely with Finance to ensure budget alignment.

Requirements

  • Promoting a partnering mentality and approach to build and maintain excellent working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Previous demonstrable HR experience, including strong employee relation knowledge and case management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management.
  • A focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to prioritize a demanding workload.
  • Experience of managing complex change and delivery of projects with emphasis on engagement and culture of the team.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with an agile approach.
  • A track record of getting things done.
  • MS Office - proficient to at least intermediate level in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience working with an HRIS and related employee platforms desirable.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience.
