About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist, People Partner to join our team at Arrow McLaren IndyCar. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our high-performance business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication
    • Influence key stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for new ways of working, alternative solutions, and key projects.
    • Understand the context and needs of your leaders and their teams, and adapt an agile approach to deliver advice, initiatives, and projects as appropriate to your area.
  • Operational HR Support
    • Act as the escalation point of contact for employee relations matters, providing oversight of complex cases.
    • Work with the Talent Attraction team to advise managers and proactively support on recruitment policy, process, and interviews/selection.
    • Ensure strong employee relations across the function through the pragmatic engagement of managers and team leaders to not just fulfill their legal obligations effectively, but approached with culture and engagement at its core.
    • Lead discussions with your senior managers on the formal and informal talent and succession management processes within their department.
    • Support the growth of early careers programs in your functional area, working with the Early Careers team and managers to deliver successful and engaging campaigns for Graduates, Apprenticeships, Internships, Work Experience, and STEM events.
    • Support the roll out of any learning and development needs, including delivery, working closely with managers and People Partner to implement any solutions.
    • Support and lead in areas of the annual reward process (salary review, bonus, and benefits) with your departments.
    • Utilize relevant HRIS data and reporting to support people strategy, spotting trends, and assisting managers with data-driven decision making.
    • Proactive management of HRIS data, to ensure accuracy and compliance, working closely with Finance to ensure budget alignment.
    • Work collaboratively across the team to update and further enhance our people policies, ensuring fit for purpose across all functions.
    Requirements
    • Previous demonstrable HR experience, including strong employee relation knowledge and case management skills, ideally in an engineering or high-performance sporting organization.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management.
    • A focus on data-driven decision making.
    • Experience of managing complex change and delivery of projects with emphasis on engagement and culture of the team.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with an agile approach.
    • MS Office - proficient to at least intermediate level in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
