Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing holistic, person-centred care to patients in a community-based setting. You will work closely with a multi-professional team to deliver excellent patient outcomes and contribute to the development of our innovative nursing program.
Main Responsibilities- Provide travel advice and vaccinate patients as needed
- Assess and care for patients with uncomplicated wounds, including removal of sutures and clips
- Support and advise patients on reproductive and sexual health
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and healthcare teams
- Participate in practice audit and research projects as required
- Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council
- Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice
- Knowledge of primary health care and General Practice
- Understanding of equality & diversity and how to apply it
- Demonstrates an empathetic and caring approach to patients and relatives
