Paediatric Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Band 5 PICU Nurse to join our team at Barts Health. As a key member of our paediatric intensive care unit, you will provide high-quality care to critically ill children and their families.
About the Role:- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care programmes.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication with families.
- Develop and maintain a good understanding of children's health needs and stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Registered nurse with up-to-date paediatric and adult basic life support certification.
- At least 2 years post-graduate experience and 6 months recent NHS paediatric experience within the last 3 years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass an enhanced background check.
