Position Overview

The Academic Support Coordinator plays a vital role in assisting the leadership team within the academic division. This position is essential for ensuring smooth operations and effective communication across various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calendar Management: Oversee scheduling for the academic leadership team, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize logistics for meetings and events, including scheduling and preparation of materials.
  • Administrative Support: Execute a wide range of administrative tasks that enhance the leadership team's effectiveness, including travel arrangements and project assistance.
  • Communication Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for inquiries related to the academic leadership team, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proactive Engagement: Anticipate the needs of the leadership team, providing timely updates and insights on relevant issues.
  • Team Collaboration: Facilitate communication between the leadership team and staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Guest Relations: Ensure a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building: Invest in developing strong, long-lasting relationships within and outside the organization.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake other projects and responsibilities as assigned to support the overall mission of the organization.
Qualifications
  • Experience supporting academic leadership or C-level executives is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and desktop publishing tools, with the ability to create and edit professional presentations.
  • Demonstrated professionalism in interactions with diverse groups, including senior leadership and external partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to respond promptly to urgent situations requiring immediate attention.
  • Experience working effectively within cross-functional teams and diverse communities.
