We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Development Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Architecture Social. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the acquisition of new business in the UK, Ireland, and the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities- Provide active support to the Business Development Team, including senior leaders such as the Managing Director and Partners.
- Strengthen our studio's presence in existing markets, focusing on the UK, Ireland, and the Middle East.
- Develop new client, consultant, and collaborator relationships while maintaining existing ones.
- Prepare, coordinate, and produce PQQ/RFP/RFQ/RFI submittals, creating and editing content for proposals, interviews, pitch decks, and business development materials.
- Organize and update project information sheets, CVs, and project portfolios.
- Manage CRM and project databases, becoming a subject matter expert and resource for the team.
- Conduct initial assessments and vetting of new potential projects, supporting proactive market research.
- Prepare regular status updates and assist in drafting fee proposals for potential projects.
- Support the Global Press Team on lectures, exhibitions, and press-related activities.
- Coordinate office and project-related tours for potential clients and collaborators.
- Proactively bring new ideas and initiatives to the table.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Design, Urban Studies, Communications, Writing, or a related field with 12 years of experience in a similar role within the construction or design industries.
- A strong interest in market research in architecture and design, especially in the UK, Ireland, and the Middle East.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A proactive, self-disciplined, and enthusiastic approach to work.
- The ability to multitask, prioritize, and work both independently and as part of a team, often under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, with strong graphic skills.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Sugar, Open Asset, or Airtable.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in another language is a plus.
