Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Customs and Trade Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and management of bonded warehouses in the UK and the Netherlands, handling trade operations across the EMEA region, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage bonded warehouses in the UK and the Netherlands
  • Handle trade operations across the EMEA region, with a focus on goods movement to and from distribution centers
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, including customs declarations and documentation
  • Identify opportunities to reduce customs-related costs and improve trade operations efficiency
  • Support ongoing projects and new business initiatives within the trade team's portfolio
  • Mitigate potential risks associated with customs compliance and conduct regular audits
  • Enhance efficiency and streamline trade operations by identifying areas for improvement and implementing technology solutions

Requirements:

  • Degree in business, international supply chain management, or trade-related disciplines
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, budgeting, project management, and planning skills
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
  • Experience with textile and apparel importers is advantageous
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications
  • Experience with SAP/SAP GTS is ideal but similar experience is acceptable
