Job Title: Autism Support Worker

Five Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with Autism and SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students in the classroom and around the school, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist students with social and emotional development, providing encouragement and guidance to help them reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to implement behavior management tools and strategies to support students with challenging behaviors.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children and young people with SEND, ideally Autism, SEMH, and/or SpLD.
  • Ability to demonstrate positive reinforcement and a proactive approach to supporting students with challenging behaviors.
  • Right to work in the UK (we cannot accept sponsorships or skilled worker visas).
  • Relevant references and DBS/police checks (if necessary).
