About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to embark on a rewarding career in population health intelligence as an apprentice with Devon County Council. You will play a vital role in analyzing health and care data, contributing to improved public health outcomes and more efficient healthcare services.

As part of the Public Health Team, you'll collaborate with various organizations across the Devon Integrated Care System, including NHS Devon Integrated Care Board, local authorities, and other partners. Your work will directly impact policy-making decisions at both strategic and operational levels, shaping the future of health and care in Devon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns in population health.
  • Produce insightful reports and presentations for senior managers and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Devon Integrated Care System to develop and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with public health regulations and data governance standards.

About You

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for improving population health. You will have:

  • Experience in health and care information, planning information, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a Public Health, Health, or Care setting.
  • A proven ability to develop and produce intelligence reports or needs assessments.
  • Knowledge of data quality principles.
