Grangemouth Outreach Service Overview

Grangemouth Outreach Service supports 11 individuals in their own homes, fostering a strong community feel among both Supported People and Support Workers. Support needs range from 24-hour assistance with personal care to help with finances, shopping, and social activities.

Key Responsibilities

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide effective support to vulnerable individuals
* Communicate and build relationships with Supported People to deliver individualized care
* Provide positive feedback and encouragement to individuals throughout activities

What is a Relief Support Worker?

As a Relief Support Worker, you will perform the same duties as our Support Workers while on shift. This role offers flexibility, as you can choose to pick up shifts that suit your schedule. Please note that Relief work is on an as-needed basis to cover absences, study leave, and other staff contingencies.

Requirements

* Previous experience in care work, social work, or a related field is an advantage, but not essential. Ark provides comprehensive training.
