Head of Ethics

Attribution Search has partnered with a reputable multi-strategy hedge fund seeking a seasoned professional to lead their EMEA Trading Compliance efforts. This key role will collaborate closely with the Global CCO, EMEA CCO, and EMEA GC to refine, improve, and enhance the Legal and Compliance platform for the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the continued growth of the investment teams and incoming Portfolio Managers, managing all aspects of the compliance monitoring programme as the primary contact for front office investment teams, technology, and the business.
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing oversight of RTS 6 under MiFID II, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert trading advisory compliance for front-office teams, ensuring algorithmic trading strategies align with regulatory demands.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Risk Teams to develop and maintain a robust compliance framework.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory changes and advise on their impact on operations.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in investment compliance within a hedge fund, investment bank, or similar financial institution.
  • Proven track record in implementing RTS 6 for MiFID II, with a deep understanding of the associated regulatory landscape.
  • Strong background in algorithmic trading, with the ability to bridge the gap between complex trading strategies and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in providing trading advisory compliance for front-office teams.
