Seagrove Ward is seeking a dedicated Senior Mental Health Support Worker to join our collaborative Multi-disciplinary Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
As a Senior Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and high-quality care within our six-bed mixed-sex Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). We are committed to creating a safe and therapeutic environment where patients can heal and recover.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care to individuals with mental health needs under the guidance of qualified staff.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a dedicated team, working closely with colleagues across various departments within Mental Health Services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of therapeutic activities that promote patient well-being and recovery.
- Assist in providing meaningful occupational therapy and support individuals in engaging in daily activities that contribute to their overall health and sense of purpose.
- Supervise and mentor fellow Support Workers, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
