About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Two Saints. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals accessing our service, ensuring their needs are met and their well-being is prioritized.
  • Assess and record client information, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Work effectively to de-escalate difficult situations, adhering to lone working and safeguarding policies.
  • Signpost clients to relevant agencies and services, ensuring they receive the support they need.
  • Maintain a welcoming and safe environment, identifying and minimizing potential risks.
Requirements
  • Clear verbal and written English.
  • Good IT and keyboard skills.
  • Polite, assertive manner, ability to self-motivate.
  • Passion for working in a client/customer-facing role.
  • Knowledge of Mental Health First Aid.
  • Interest and genuine concern for mental health, homelessness, and related issues.
