Position Overview:

Highfield Professional Solutions Ltd is in search of a proficient Senior Construction Manager to supervise a range of highway development initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of projects while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Oversight:

    Direct and manage the daily functions of various highway projects, guaranteeing that all operations are conducted safely, punctually, and within financial constraints.

  • Leadership:

    Inspire and guide on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, promoting a cooperative and efficient work atmosphere.

  • Strategic Planning:

    Create comprehensive project plans, timelines, and operational frameworks to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Health and Safety Management:

    Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and organizational policies. Conduct routine site evaluations and compliance checks.

  • Quality Assurance:

    Enforce quality benchmarks, performing regular assessments to confirm that all work aligns with established specifications and standards.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:

    Communicate effectively with clients, local authorities, and other relevant parties. Prepare and present detailed progress and financial reports as necessary.

  • Problem Resolution:

    Identify and address any challenges that arise throughout the project lifecycle, implementing effective strategies to maintain project momentum.


Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in a Senior Construction Manager role or equivalent within highway construction, ideally with a leading contractor.


Educational Background:

A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Proficiency in project management software and tools is essential.


Expertise:

Comprehensive understanding of highway construction methodologies, health and safety regulations, and quality assurance practices. A valid CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid certification are required.


Flexibility:

Willingness to travel to various project locations as needed.
