Position Overview

Role Summary:

As a Construction Site Manager, you will oversee all facets of drywall installation and finishing on our residential building projects. Your leadership will be vital in ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently, within budget constraints, and to the highest quality benchmarks. The successful candidate will possess significant experience in drywall operations and a solid history of managing teams in a construction setting.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily activities related to drywall work, ensuring compliance with project timelines and quality expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and direct a team of drywall installers, offering support and direction to achieve optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform routine evaluations to confirm that all work aligns with the specified standards and requirements.
  • Safety Compliance: Uphold rigorous health and safety protocols, conducting assessments and ensuring a secure work environment.
  • Project Coordination: Work in conjunction with project leaders, site managers, and other trades to facilitate smooth project delivery and address any on-site challenges.
  • Resource Management: Oversee the procurement and utilization of materials to minimize waste and ensure timely availability for ongoing tasks.
  • Documentation: Keep precise records of project progress, incidents, and challenges, providing regular reports to project leaders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Construction Site Manager in residential projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of drywall installation techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction field.
  • Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Possession of a valid CSCS card (Supervisor level or higher) is advantageous.
