Role Overview: The primary objective is to minimize the environmental footprint of our industrial clients by providing support throughout all operational phases of their boiler systems.

Products and Services: Our offerings include a wide array of products and services such as fire tube and hot water boilers, burners, process heating solutions, water treatment systems, space heating, steam generators, and thermal oxidation equipment, utilized in various applications across multiple industries and regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate project planning, design, procurement, construction, subcontractor management, installation, site dispatch, and commissioning, utilizing our manufacturing facilities in Europe for primary equipment and sourcing ancillary components locally.
  • Manage projects with values ranging from £30,000 to £2 million, which may include equipment supply only, supply and installation, custom skid-built solutions, and comprehensive turnkey projects. The company’s Service Division will typically handle the commissioning of each project.

Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Contracts / Process Engineering Divisional Manager.

Key Duties Include:

  • Assume overall responsibility for supervising and managing the daily operations and coordination of multiple contracts from order placement to final commissioning and handover.
  • Ensure meticulous planning, design, procurement, construction, subcontractor management, installation, site dispatch, and commissioning.
  • Compile and maintain accurate data to facilitate the procurement and manufacturing of equipment in line with contractual obligations.
  • Manage and oversee the contractual and commercial aspects of each project.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to contract specifications regarding quality, timelines, and budget.
  • Ensure compliance with financial contract requirements within specified timeframes.

Experience Requirements: Candidates should possess experience in the plant and process engineering domain. Ideal backgrounds include mechanical contracting services or process engineering, particularly in steam or high-temperature process heating applications.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with the MS Office suite is essential. Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is advantageous, particularly for those with a history of working on technology-driven, multidisciplinary projects.

Qualifications: A HNC/Degree or equivalent in mechanical or chemical engineering or a related process engineering discipline, along with experience in a relevant industry or with a manufacturer of associated equipment.

Communication Skills: Previous job titles that align with this role include Contracts Engineer, Contract Engineer, Project Manager, and Projects Engineer.
