Role Overview:
Prospectus is excited to assist our client in finding an outstanding Programme Manager to spearhead a transformative national Kinship Care Training and Support initiative. This service is backed by the Department for Education and aims to enhance the support available to kinship families.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
- Oversee the planning and execution of a comprehensive suite of workshops and training events tailored for kinship carers, delivered both online and in-person.
- Manage the development of new resources to be featured on an upgraded online support hub.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Executive, Executive Team, delivery partners, and stakeholders to ensure the service is delivered effectively, on time, and within budget.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Extensive experience in managing complex programmes with multiple components and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in methodologies for planning, monitoring, and controlling programme delivery.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to foster collaboration across various departments and with diverse partners.
- Demonstrated success in managing all aspects of programme delivery, including setup, service design, stakeholder engagement, and evaluation.
Additional Information:
We are particularly interested in candidates who have a background in kinship care, whether through personal experience or as a kinship carer. Knowledge of performance monitoring methodologies throughout the project lifecycle is essential, and familiarity with tools such as Asana is advantageous.
