Maternity Cover Watch/Jewellery Buyer

SL Resources, a leading mail order company based in Herts, is seeking an experienced Watch/Jewellery Buyer to cover a maternity leave starting in November 2024.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and approve products for our monthly catalogue, working closely with our in-house photographers to ensure high-quality images.
  • Maintain and develop close relationships with key suppliers to expand offerings and improve margins.
  • Develop exclusive and proprietary pieces that differentiate and enhance our brand.
  • Stay informed on industry developments, market trends, and competitor activities relating to our business area.
  • Make informed buying decisions and participate in international buying trips to relevant trade shows and exhibitions.
Requirements:
  • Strong buying experience within the watch/jewellery market.
  • Keen eye for trends and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
