Maternity Contract Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Assistant Buyer to join our busy buying team at SL Resources. As a key member of our corporate buying department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing a diverse range of products that resonate with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and approve products for our monthly catalogue
  • Work closely with our in-house photographers to approve images for catalogue/press
  • Help create copy alongside products
  • Maintain and develop close relationships with key suppliers to expand offerings and improve margins
  • Develop exclusive and proprietary pieces that differentiate and enhance our brand

You will be responsible for staying informed on industry developments, market trends, and competitor activities relating to our business area, allowing you to make informed buying decisions. Some international buying trips may be involved to various and relevant trade shows/exhibitions.

Requirements:
  • Strong experience in a buying department, preferably within Watches/Jewellery or similar market
  • Keen eye for trends
  • Excellent communication skills dealing with a range of internal/external stakeholders
