Maternity Cover Watch/Jewellery Buyer Role

SL Resources is seeking an experienced Watch/Jewellery Buyer to cover a maternity leave starting in the near future.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled buyer to join our team and take on the responsibilities of selecting and approving products for our monthly catalogue, working closely with our in-house photographers, and creating copy alongside products.

The ideal candidate will have strong buying experience within the watch/jewellery market, a keen eye for trends, and excellent communication skills to deal with a range of internal/external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and developing a mixed range of products resonating with our target audience, driving customer interest and sales.
  • Working closely with suppliers to expand offerings and improve margins, while developing exclusive and proprietary pieces that differentiate and enhance our brand.
  • Staying informed on industry developments, market trends, and competitor activities relating to our business area, allowing for informed buying decisions.
  • Participating in international buying trips to various trade shows and exhibitions.

As a Watch/Jewellery Buyer, you will be supported by a strong administrative team and work alongside a proactive Managing Director. This is a diverse role that requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
